Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing an electrophotographic sensitive body capable of ensuring excellent image characteristics. CONSTITUTION:When a photosensitive layer is formed on an electric conductive substrate to produce an electrophotographic sensitive body, an anodically oxidized film is formed on the surface of the electric conductive substrate in an aq. system and the resulting Al-based drum is washed with warm pure water at 30-90 deg.C. The photosensitive layer is then formed on the drum and the objective electrophotographic sensitive body is produced.
