WATERPROOF MECHANISM FOR SWITCHBOARD

PURPOSE:To prevent water from standing by providing an inclining drainage guide part for the groove of trough protruding from the end of frame of switchboard. CONSTITUTION:Rain water intrudes through a gap between the frame 1 and door 6 of switchboard as shown by an arrow G and stands at the upper part of a drainage guide 4a disposed at the groove part of trough protruding from the frame 1. Since the drainage guide 4a has central part higher than the opposite ends and inclining against a horizontal plane, intruded rain water does not stand on the drainage guide 4a but flows down along a folded part 3 and discharged downward from the opposite ends of the frame 1. This mechanism prevents rain water from standing.
