Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an electrode container lightweight, excellent in airtightness, and having improved corrosion resistance against molten salt. CONSTITUTION:An insulating ceramic ring 12 is provided between a positive electrode container main body 19 and a negative electrode container main body 20, and a solid electrolyte tube 11 is fitted to the insulating ceramic ring 12. Kovar rings 13, 14 are connected between the insulating ceramic ring 12, positive electrode container main body 19, and negative container main body 20 respectively, Ni or Ni alloy rings 15, 16 are connected between the Kovar rings 13, 14, positive electrode container main body 19, and negative electrode container main body 20, and Ni-plated layers 17, 18 are provided on the inside of the Kovar rings 13, 14 and on part of the insulating ceramic ring 12 or the Ni or Ni alloy rings 15, 16.
