CONSTITUTION:With respect to a recording head 20 for an optical disk, a recording head part 23 consists of recording head elements 20A, 20B, and 20C divided in the radial direction of the optical disk. When the recording head is divisionally constituted in this manner and divided recording head elements are used in time division, heat generation of the recording head itself is reduced because the power consumption of the recording head element simple substance is reduced, and it is unnecessary to provide a cooling means in a data recording/ reproducing device.
