PURPOSE:To provide a hot water supplier capable of discharging high temperature hot water to a bathtub and the like by providing means for discriminating between operational conditions by respective signals of an operational mode setting part, and closing one of water passages by water quantity variable device after a predetermined quantity of hot water has flowed or the temperature of hot water has reached a value less than a predetermined temperature. CONSTITUTION:A controller 11 conducts the hot water temperature control and the water quantity control based on the signals from a hot water temperature detector 6 and a water detector 2, and extinguishes a burner 5 and a water quantity variable device 14 is fully opened when an operational mode designating switch 17 is turned OFF. After the burner 5 is extinguished, when the quantity of water which has passed through a heat exchanger 4 reaches a preset value, the water quantity variable device 14 is closed, and the action of the tool is stopped. According to the above described construction, after the termination of the use of high temperature hot water, water of a predetermined quantity is caused to flow and thereafter water is stopped. Therefore, after using high temperature hot water, even if the hot water supplier is used immediately by setting other hot water temperature, hot water of high temperature is not supplied. Thus, a hot water supplier capable of using safely and having good convenience for use, can be obtained.
