DEBUG SUPPORTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To shorten a period of time required for a debug by detecting the access violation at every task of a program to be executed by a processor equipped with a multitask function, and reproducing the access situation at the time of the access violation. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a protect memory 3i (i=1, 2,..., n) which stores the information of the access permission/inhibition area in a shared memory 2 of each task 5i according to the number of the plural tasks 5i. A protect memory management routine 4 switches to the protect memory 3i corresponding to the task 5i which is being executed, and a CPU 1 controls an access to the shared memory 2 by using the set information of the access permission/inhibition area of each task 5i. And also, when the access violation is performed by the task 5i, the information related with a task ID and the access situation such as an access address or an access value at the time of the access violation is stored in a buffer 21.
