SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY

PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of an electrolytic solution and suppress capacity decrease of a battery and improve life property by packing an electrolytic bath with water bags which are made of bag-like high polymer material filled with water or an aqueous solution. CONSTITUTION:Water bags 1 which are made of a bag-like high polymer material filled with water or an aqueous solution and sealed are put in spaces above electrode groups 3 in an electrolytic bath 2. Regarding a battery in which the water bags 1 are stored, water which permeates the bags 1 and is dispersed in the electrolytic bath 2 compensates for the water which permeates wall of the electrolytic bath 2 and is lost from an electrolytic solution. As a result, dispersion of water in the electrolytic solution to the electrolytic bath 2 and decrease of electrolytic solution are prevented and thus the capacity decrease of the battery is suppressed and life property of the battery is improved.
