SWITCH

PURPOSE:To form a switch, in which reduction in operation force and multiswitching are enabled by rolling a roller contact making it into contact with each front end part of the connection arms of a pair of mobile contact, and by bringing the other end part of each connection arm into pivot-contact with a supporting base so that the other end part can be oscillated. CONSTITUTION:In a switch provided with a pair of fixed contacts 2 and a mobile contact 1 that are moved in a correlated manner, roller contacts 5 are rotatively held on the front end parts of a pair of contact arms 3 of the fixed contacts 2 by shaft pins 4, and they are rotatively brought into contact with the mobile contact 1. The other end parts 11 of the contact arms 3 are brought into pivot-contact with the receiving part 16 of a support board 12 through shaft pins 13 so that the other end part can be oscillated. A pin 20 is inserted into a hole 19 in the intermediate part of each connection arm 3, and a tension spring 21 is hooked on the pin 20, to add load required for the contact pressure of the roller contact 5 and for the contact pressure of a contact point part 17. Stable contact is thus maintained, and consumption of the contact point part 17 is minimized.
