PURPOSE: To make the manufacture of a motor vehicle door lock easily and to protect electrical leads by burying the leads in a door lock housing made of an injection-molded synthetic resin, and at the same time, additionally providing connection devices for electrical components, such as the switch, etc. CONSTITUTION: Electrical leads 7 are buried in a lock housing 3 made of an injection-molded synthetic resin. Then connection formations 10 are provided for the leads 7, and the connection leads 9 of electrical components 6 are connected to the formations 10. As a result, a motor vehicle door lock can be assembled easily, and the breakage of the door lock can be reduced when the lock comes into contact with an object. In addition, the door lock can be protected from corrosion and vibrations.
