METHOD FOR DRIVING PILE USING HULL AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To make the work driving pile into the sea-bottom foundation by providing a buffer device to a device for a driving pile equipped on a hull to prevent an attitude variation of a vibration exciter by pitching of the hull. CONSTITUTION:A driving device 1 is constituted of a vibration exciter 8 provided on a hull 11 and suspended by a boom 6 capable of elevation/depression through a wire 9, and a driven pile 7 can be held at the lower part of the vibration exciter 8. In the case where the hull 11 is lifted up by pitching, in order to prevent an attitude variation upward in the driving device 1 together with the hull 11, a buffer device 2 formed out of an appropriate horseshoe metal fixture 3 and upper and lower interlocking plates 4 and 4a is provided. According to the constitution, in the case where pitching occurs in the hull 11 by various kinds of waves, the hull 11 is lifted, a drooping length of the boom 6 is automatically extended, and an attitude variation upward in the vibration exciter 8 can be prevented.
