Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the method for producing high corrosion resistant spring for suspension in which the coating corrosion resistance of the contact part between spring materials is good. CONSTITUTION:In the method for producing a spring for suspension in which a series of processes of soaking treatment, hot forming, hardening, tempering, stress peening, chemical conversion treatment, coating, baking or the like is undergone or a series of processed of soaking treatment, cold forming, tempering, stress peening, chemical conversion treatment, coating, baking or the like is undergone, at least a part of the surface of a forming spring material after the stress peening is applied with nickel by brush plating, and it undergoes a series of spring producing process. It is possible to use a series of spring producing process as it is, the corrosion resistance of the contact part of spring materials for suspension in a salt damage environment is improved, and the generation of fracture starting points is prevented. The conventional electroplating bath tank is eliminated, and in the case the plating place is limited particularly to a small, part, the effect of reducing the equipment and the cost in the process is extremely high.
