Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain an antigelling agent which provides remarkable synergistic and antigelling effects by combining a diphenylamine deriv. with an alkylaryl-p- phenylenedimine deriv. CONSTITUTION:This antigelling agent is a mixture of 50-97 pts.wt. dipheylamine deriv. of formula I (wherein R1 to R6 are each H, 1-8C alkyl, or 8-12C aralkyl) with 3-50 pts.wt. alkylaryl-p-phenylenediamine of formula II (wherein R7 is a phenyl group optionally substd. by a 1-8C alkyl group; and R8 3-8C lkyl). An excellent example of the phenylenediamine driv. is N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'- phenyl-p-phenylenediamine. The agent pref. in an amt. of 0.3-1.0 pt.wt. is added to 100 pts. syntheic rubber.
