CONSTITUTION:The roughness of the barrel part of an upper work roll 1 is made smaller than that of the barrel part of a lower work roll 2, the cross angle between the lower work roll 2 having larger roughness and the lower back-up roll 14 is made 0 deg. or very small and the cross angle between the upper work roll 1 having smaller roughness and the upper back-up roll 13 is set larger than the cross angle between the lower work roll 2 having larger roughness and the lower back-up roll 14.
