Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a nozzle that needs no attachment for forming contact and that has a sturdy mechanical structure, in a nozzle for measuring distance between a tool and a workpiece for the purpose of precision machining of non-metallic parts. CONSTITUTION: The nozzle 1 consists of a nozzle body 2 and a center electrode 27 arranged at the tip end of this nozzle body 2. The center electrode 27 is surrounded with at least two electrodes 38, 36 which are electrically insulated from the center electrode 27 and also from each other, in a plane vertical to the vertial axis A of the nozzle body 2. A distance can be measured between the nozzle and a part made of an electrically nonconductive material, by means of capacitance existing between the center electrode 27 and the outer electrode 36.
