Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a liquid pressure reducing device which is capable of effective prevention of the cavitation with a simple and easily manufacturable structure. CONSTITUTION:A pressure reducing device 5 consists of a cylindrical member 6 of the diameter smaller than that of a flow passage 3 of the piping 2, and a plate 7 of the diameter larger than that of the flow passage 3. A lot of small- diametral through holes 11 which are opened in the radial arrangement toward the axial center C are made in a circumferential wall 10 of the cylindrical member 6. On the other hand, an orifice 12 of a relatively large diameter is formed in the center of the plate 7. The liquid flowing through the flow passage 3 of the piping 2 flows into the cylindrical member 6 from the through holes 11 accompanied by the pressure loss caused by the sectional are change of the flow passage. The flow-in liquid advances toward the axial center C of the cylindrical member 6, and is collided with each other, causing the pressure loss by the violent turbulence and at the same time, leading to the state without speed. Then, the liquid is straightened from the orifice 12 and flows downstream of the orifice while being accompanied by the pressure loss caused by the change of the sectional area of the flow passage. |
