Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an illuminator which can improve the mounting and removing property of a translucent cover to the appliance body directly attached to a ceiling face or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a lever 3 provided with a chain of locks for locking and retaining a cover B is pushed inward of the appliance body A, a stopper 6 works and retains the temporary hold condition of the lock 4 inside. And, a riser 14 at the tip of the cover pushes and releases the stopper 6 by pushing up the cover B to the body A, and the lock 4 is pushed out of the appliance by a spring 2 to lock and retain the cover.
