Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a method for selectively crystallizing dihydrate of guanosine monosodium salt. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this method for selectively crystallizing dihydrate of guanosine monosodium salt comprises keeping pH of guanosine- containing solution to 11-14 and keeping the solution temperature to 40 deg.C to 90 deg.C or by keeping pH of guanosine-containing solution to 11-14 and keeping supersaturation degree at the start of crystallizing to 2-10. Since dihydrate of guanosine monosodium salt excellent in separating property and having high purification degree can be obtained thereby, guanylic acid can be industrially advantageously produced.
