TITANIUM INTERMEDIATE STOPPER

PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of the interlocking part and the engaging part with the intermediate stopper made of titanium or titanium alloy and setting an Au and Ge diffusion layer on at least one of the interlocking part or the engaging part. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate stopper 5 of a matter, in which each titanium band 1 and 8 are connected by the intermediate stopper consists of an intermediate stopper main body 2 with a engaging part 2a on the one end and a connecting part 2b on the other end, an upper plate 3, a connecting part 3a on one end of which is rotatably connected to the connecting part 2b by a connecting pin 9, and an engaging piece 4 with an L-shape, which has an engaging part 4a to engage to the engaging part 2a on the tip, fixed on the upper plate 3. In this case, an Au and Ge diffusion surface layer is formed on the engaging part 2a and/or the interlocking part 4a of the intermediate stopper 5. Thus, the function problems such as abrasion of fastening force, etc., of the engaging parts in repeating open and close operation of the engaging parts such as the interlocking part 2a and engaging part 2b are eliminated.
