CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PURPOSE:To avoid the intrinsic effect of an internal magnetic shield body, that is, the outside, by making the internal magnetic shield body in the form to shield at least holding members and elastic members of the frame of a color selecting electrode. CONSTITUTION:An internal magnetic shield body 21 is made in the form to shield at least the connecting parts of the holding members 1 and 2, and the elastic members 3 and 4 of the frame of a color selecting electrode 8, and to expose the other parts of the frame 5. As a result, when the members in a cathode-ray tube (especially the frame 5 of the color selecting electrode) are magnetized, and the track of the cathode ray is controlled by the magnetic field, the magnetization to the connecting parts 50 of the frame 5 can be avoided, so as to generate no disturbance of the magnetic field by the connecting parts 50. Consequently, a favorable magnetization is obtained as the whole, and the track correction effect of the cathode ray is increased. By making the internal magnetic shield body 21 in a form to shield the connecting parts 50 of the frame 5 50% or more, a track correction of the cathode ray at a high accuracy can be obtained.
