Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a rust preventive for a metal member embedded in ALC (aerated lightweight concrete) and having high rust preventing effect and adhesion strength with metal parts by incorporating boric acid into a general rust preventive consisting essentially of a resin and a pigment. CONSTITUTION:This rust preventive is obtd. by mixing and sufficiently dispersing 1-10% boric acid in a well-known rust preventive consisting essentially of a specified proportion of extender, minium, polystyrene, blown asphalt, etc., as the base material. The obtd. rust preventive is applied and dried on a metal member to be embedded in ALC such as reinforcing bar or metal parts, and then the metal member is embedded in ALC. The rust preventive has extremely high rust preventing effect and good adhesion strength with the metal member compared with a conventional rust preventive. |
