Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To accurately diagnose the fault of an equipment that operates in a time series way. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an equipment operation judging device 12, a fault cause preestimating device 14, a storage 16 which includes a fault tree to show the relations between the faults and their factors, and a fault tree learning device 18. In such a constitution, the operating state and the operating sequence of an equipment are compared with each reference. Thus the presence or absence of a fault is decided and at the same time the fault cause is estimated and the fault tree is automatically learnt and corrected. Thus, the fault of the equipment can always be accurately diagnosed.
