Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide a method and a device for producing a threedimensionally punched sheet having openings capable of being easily formed in a suitable shape at suitable places, high in absorbability, and suitable as a surface material for sanitary napkins and diapers good in appearance and hand and drape. CONSTITUTION:A method for producing a three-dimensionally punched sheet having three-dimensional punched holes comprises placing a sheet between the first press mold and the second press mold along the carrying direction of the sheet 2 to form the many three-dimensional punched holes in the sheet, the first press mold having many pyramidal or conical projected pins 52 in rows which juxtaposed, and the second press mold having projections 62 for the insertion of the many pin rows. A device for producing the three-dimensionally punched sheet having the three-dimensionally punched holes is characterized by having rotation rolls disposed in the sheet-carrying region, the rotation rolls comprising a pin roll formed by superposing pin disks having the many pyramidal or conical projected pins on their peripheries on each other and a projection roll formed by superposing projection disks on each other at prescribed distances, the projection disks being used so that the many projected pins formed by superposing the pin disks are inserted into the peripheries of the projection disks.
