Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a method for treating a slag generated in the refining process of a melted metal, especially mainly for treating a melted or semi-melted slag. CONSTITUTION:This method for treating a slag generated in a process for the refining of a melted metal comprises discharging the melted or semi-melted slag in a pit or on a yard, just subsequently continuously inverting or stirring the slag in the melted state or semi-melted state, simultaneously solidifying the slag, charging the solidified slag into a cooling drum with a hot conveyer, applying a proper rotation force to the slag with the cooling drum, simultaneously cooling the slag to a prescribed temperature, and further carrying the cooled slag to a slag-processing plant in the next process.
