DEVICE FOR CHANGING ROLL OF PIPING MILL

PURPOSE:To execute work for changing rolls of a piping mill in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Inner housings 6 of the piping mill is made so as to be retractable in the forming line direction to outer housings 7. A The inner housings 6 which are arranged in the direction X of the forming line are made into an inner housing unit 12 by integrating them. A shifting truck 13 which is shiftable in the horizontal direction is arranged on the outlet side of the piping mill. A pipe transporting table 14 is placed on the shifting truck 13. An old roll pulling-out position 15 and new roll inserting position 16 are set on the shifting truck 13 and pushing /pulling devices are respectively provided. The inner housing unit 12 is pulled out of the outer housing 7 at the old roll pulling-out position 15 and the other inner housing unit 12' is inserted in the new roll inserting position 16 using the pushing/pulling devices.
