CHROMATOGRAM MASS SPECTROMETER

PURPOSE:To utilize a disk effectively by storing the mass spectorum of the parts exceeding a specific threshold value. CONSTITUTION:A mixture sample poured in a chromatogram 1 is separated into the components, and ionized in an ion source 3 after passing through a sample lead-in pipe 2. The produced ion is discharged to an analizer by the ion acceleration voltage. By attracting a magnetic field current power source 5 by a set electromagnet 4, the sample ion receives a mass dispersion enters in a collector 6 as a mass spectrum, and is stored in a data processor 7. The threshold levels are provided to desired positions on a UV signal or the total ion, or on the chromatogram 1, and only the mass spectorum data at the sum exceeding the level is stored in the processor 7, and the other parts not having run out as samples are not stored as a mass spectrorum. Since the background proper to the device not necessary to analyze, and the background from a column filler are not stored in such a way, a data processing disk can be utilized effectively broadly.
