CONTROLLER EQUIPPED WITH EXTENSION EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To allow the software of a controller equipped with a resume function to recognize a power source restoration. CONSTITUTION:An extension equipment 2 monitors the input state of a power source 31 supplied from a controller 1 by a power source detecting circuit 21. When the power source of the controller 1 in which the resume function is being operated is restored, the extension equipment 2 detects the input of the power source 31, and outputs a restoration signal 33 to the controller 1. The controller 1 inputs the restoration signal 33, and outputs an initializing command 34. An operation permitting circuit 22 inputs the initializing command 34, initializes the extension equipment 2, and outputs an output permission signal 35 to an outputting circuit 23. The outputting circuit 23 inputs the output permission signal 35 and an output control signal 36 from the controller 1, and operates an output based on the output control signal 36.
