PREVENTION FOR SMOKE GENERATED IN DWELLING HOUSE AND DWELLING HOUSE THEREWITH

PURPOSE:To secure the refuge time by closing a staircase chamber when smoke is sensed, pressurizing the staircase chamber by operating a blower, and suppressing the intrusion of the smoke to the staircase chamber. CONSTITUTION:The smoke formed in the initial stage of a fire at the first floor of a house propagates to the second floor from the first floor, passing through the staircase of a staircase chamber in a house as a refuge passage from the second floor. In this case, a smoke sensor installed at the ceiling part of a room at the first floor senses the smoke when the smoke is generated. An alarm and a blower are operated to feed the air having a prescribed air flow speed towards the first floor from the second floor, and the inlet door of each room at the second floor is closed all at once. Accordingly, the staircase chamber is closed, and the staircase chamber is pressurized by continuously feeding air to the first floor from the second floor, and the propagation time of the smoke from the first floor to the second floor is decelerated, and the refuge time is secured.
