ANTISKID BRAKE DEVICE OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To recover the directional stability in its early stage so as to obtain high level directional stability by providing a threshold value correcting means adapted to receive a signal from a control frequency judging means for the speed reduction control and to change the threshold value in such a manner that the pressure reduction control can be executed more easily at the initial pressure reducing time in comparison with that at the second and following control times. CONSTITUTION:It is judged whether the pressure reducing control is needed or not according to each wheel speed detected by a wheel speed detecting means 51 and a threshold value set by a threshold value setting means 57. If the pressure reducing control is judged, an oil pressure adjusting means 55 is operated by a control means 54 in such a manner that the brake oil pressure of each brake means 52 is periodically increased and decreased. In response to a signal from a control frequency judging means 56 for judging the control frequency of the pressure reducing control, the threshold value is changed by a threshold value correcting means 58 in such a manner that the pressure reducing control at the first time can be easily executed more than the pressure reducing control at the second and following times. Accordingly, the initial pressure reducing control can be performed at a point of time when the lock state of a wheel is lighter than that at the second and following times.
