Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a peripheral visual field display capable of dispensing with mechanism parts for varying the visual field region and controllers attendant on them and providing the peripheral visual field accurately complying with the request of a driver. CONSTITUTION:The photographing region of a vehicular peripheral visual field is obtained by an image pickup means 21, and a part of this photographing region is taken as a display region to be displayed on an image display means 22, so as to singly electrically vary the display region. This singly electrical varying is performed by the image pickup means 21, a display region control means 24 or the image display means 22. Moreover an display region command means 23 performs the command of the display region on the basis of the relationship of own vehicle to the peripheral vehicle, on the basis of the will of the driver that has measured and estimated the vehicular state or on the basis of the head position and the line of sight of the driver.
