FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To eliminate a wicked anonymous transmission whose transmission origin is hidden by providing a function inhibiting a transmission when transmission origin information is not inputted when a facsimile transmission is performed. CONSTITUTION:When the key operation for a transmission is performed from an operation part 3 by an operator, an MPU part 8 retrieves whether date and hour information is already inputted in a memory part 6 or not. When the date and hour information is already inputted in a memory part 6, whether each of the telephone number of a transmission origin and the name of the transmission origin is already inputted in the memory part 6 or not is retrieved. When they are not inputted, the transmission is judged as a transmission disabling and an alarm to the effect that the transmission is disabled is given by alarm sound and a message display by an alarm part 2 and display part 4. When they are already inputted, date and hour information, the telephone number of the transmission origin and the name are added as headers and the transmission operation of image information is started. Thus, the transmission where the information on the transmission origin does not exist can be eliminated.
