Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce mechanical strength of a bulb hole wall so as to reduce weight of a DC bushing without deterioration of insulating strength by using fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) as a material of a bushing, fixing a polymer shade-like member around the FRP, and enclosing insulating gas inside the bushing. CONSTITUTION:A center conductor 8 is covered with FRP 5 on a side of the inside 14 of a bulb hole of a bushing inserted into a bulb hole wall 2, and is filled with SF6 gas 9. A shed-like member 6 made of a polymer is fixed around the FRP 5 in order to secure a surface creepage distance. Consequently, it is possible to reduce weight of a DC bushing so as to remarkably reduce support strength of the bulb hole wall 2 and reduce a construction cost.
