Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To advance research on meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and simultaneously assist the diagnosis of various symptoms due to the infection with the MRSA by isolating an unknown pathogenic factor produced by Staphylococcus aureus, especially the MRSA and specifying the unknown pathogenic factor. CONSTITUTION:The cytotoxins are new heat labile cytotoxin (having about 50 kDa molecular weight and losing the activity by heating) derived from Staphylococcus aureus and two kinds of heat stable cytotoxins (having about 40 kDa molecular weight and relatively stable to the heating). The method for producing the cytotoxins is also provided. The cytotoxins are produced in a culture supernatant of MRSA and are important substances for advancing the research on pathogenicity of the MRSA and providing useful information about the treatment and diagnosis of infection with the MRSA.
