Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To synthesize peptide having a high mol.wt. by mixing an amino acid or peptide with CaF2 and water and electrolyzing the mixture at a voltage above the decomposition voltage of CaF2. CONSTITUTION:An amino acid and/or peptide is mixed with CaF2 and water, or the mixture is further mixed with CaCO3. The mixture is electrolyzed at a voltage above the decomposition voltage of CaF2 to synthesize peptide or peptide having a higher mol.wt. than said peptide as a starting material. Thus, peptide having the desired mol.wt. such as peptide useful as pharmaceuticals is synthesized.
