CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATOR

PURPOSE:To realize the rapidity of dehydration and a high dehydration rate and to dehydrate accumulated sludge of rivers, lakes and marshes on the spot to subject the dehydrated sludge to landfilling in the neighborhod as soil by providing filtering slits to a centrifugal precipitate scraping-up surface and subjecting a centrifugal precipitate to centrifugal filtration and dehydration under high speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:Muddy matter enters an outer body 4 rotating with the slight rotational speed difference with respect to an inner body 3 from an inlet 1 through the inner body 3 rotating at a high speed to receive centrifugal force and a solid is settled on the wall of the outer body 4 and the liquid floats toward the inner body 3 to overflow from a liquid outlet 2. The settled solid is pushed toward a conical part 12 by a screw 5 rotating at a relatively low speed and scrapd up on the filter 7 mounted on the inclined surface of the conical part 12 and a liquid is passed through the slits of the filter 7 by centrifugal force to be discharged. The centrifugally filtered and dehydrated solid 9 is pushed by the screw 5 to be introduced into the leading end constructed part of the conical part 12 under pressure and the exuded liquid is shaken off by centrifugal force to be discharged from the dehydrated solid outlet 10 provided to the leading end of the conical part.
