TEMPERATURE SWITCH

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal switch having good response to temperature by installing a reed switch driving part in the outer circumference of a casing body. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a temperature switch 1, a read switch 2 is stored in a casing body 4 and kept in water-proofing structure in the way only parts of a lead wire for electricity application and terminals 3a, 3b are set to be exposed to outside. A pair of permanent magnets 5a, 5b to cause a magnetic field effect on lead pieces 2a, 2b of the switch 2 which compose a lead switch driving part 7 are positioned at the positions which correspond the overlaying part of the lead pieces 2a, 2b of the switch 2 of the outer circumference region of the casing 4. Further, a heat-sensitive magentic body to change magnetic flux direction of the magnetic field of the magnets 5a, 5b is installed wherein the heat-sensitive magnetic body 6 changes the magnetic properties based on the outer temperature. Consequently, the magnetic body 6 directly detects the outside temperature, swiftly changes the magnetic flux direction of the magnets 5a, 5b to the lead pieces 2a, 2b, and thus switching operation of the switch 2 can be carried out with good response to outside temperature.
