LAP-TOP TYPE INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid crystal display device from being opened owing to mishandling by bringing a claw part which is associated with the drawing-out and storing operation of a handle into contact with the engagement part of a buckle or engaging it with an engagement part provided on the flanks of an equipment main body and the liquid crystal device. CONSTITUTION:When the handle 3 is drawn out while the liquid crystal display device 2 of the lap-top type information processor is fallen toward the equipment main body 1 and stored, a member which is associated with the rotary motion of the handle 3 in a certain-angle range engages the buckle 6 arranged nearby the handle 3 or a side recessed part arranged in the flank of the equipment main body 1. When the handle is drawn out and left handle support metal fittings 4 rotate, a lock claw support member is lifted and the lock claw 8 provided at the top moves up almost to a buckle engagement claw 7 and engages the buckle engagement claw 7 to prevent the liquid crystal display device 2 from being opened. Consequently, the handle 3 is drawn out while the equipment main body 1 is stood upright and the liquid crystal display device 2 is never opened even when misoperated.
