Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a freshness-keeping material capable of preserving a perishable food over a long period by adjusting perishable food, preventing the oxidization of the food to deteriorate the food quality such as freshness, taste and flavor and suppressing the generation of ethylene gas from fruits. CONSTITUTION:The substrate of the freshness-keeping material is a porous material made of aluminum 3 or aluminum alloy and has a number of cavities on the outer surface or in the material and at least a part of the cavities are connected with each other. Whiskers 4 composed mainly of aluminum oxide are formed on at least a part of the interconnecting holes 2 formed by the cavities and fine water particles 5 can be held with the whiskers. The supercooling near the outlet of chilled air can be suppressed and the temperature change caused by the opening of a refrigerator door can remarkably be reduced by lining the inner wall surface of a refrigerator with the freshness-keeping material. |
