Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To suppress the noise of a truck as low as possible by a method wherein the rotor and the motor frame of a motor is separated from each other and the rotor is attached to an axle and the motor frame surrounding the axle is attached to a truck frame to transmit the torque of the motor directly to the axle. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 3 are attached to both the sides of a disc 2 fitted onto an axle 1 to obtain a rotor. Bosses are provided on both the sides of the disc 2 and the doughnut-shaped magnets which have through-holes having inner diameters same as the diameters of the bosses and thicknesses same as the widths of the bosses are attached to both the surfaces of the disc 2. Field coils 5 fixed to a motor frame 4 are made to face the side surfaces of the magnets of the rotor and the directions of the field currents are switched in accordance with the polarities of the magnets of the rotor to make the rotor rotate. As the motor frame is attached to a truck frame 6, a vertical relative movement is produced between the motor frame and the rotor by the deflections of axial springs 7. However, as the field coils 5 face the magnets on the sides of the rotor, even if the vertical relative movement is produced, gaps between the field coils and the magnets are not influenced.
