Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic shielding device which can readily obtain a low-magnetic field space in a small space and a magnetic shielding space in which various kinds of highly accurate magnetic measurement can be performed including the measurement of very weak magnetic signals, such as the magnetic signals of living bodies, etc., and, at the same time, can be easily manufactured and handled. CONSTITUTION:The shielding device is constituted by combining two cylindrical superconducting bodies having closed ends on one sides in such a way that one (first) cylindrical superconducting body having the closed end on one side is inserted into the other (second) cylindrical superconducting body having the closed end on one side from the opened end of the second body, with the opened end of the first body forward.
