COMBUSTIBLE GAS BURNING METHOD FOR BURNING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To enhance the burning effect of gas combustion and to reduce discharge of harmful substance such as NOx, etc., by forming a discharge space in a furnace and passing mixed gas of combustible gas and burning air through the space. CONSTITUTION:Combustible gas supplied from a gas supply port 2 to a burning furnace 1 is heated by an assist burner 7 when the temperature of the combustible gas is insufficient, combined with burning air supplied from an air supply port 3, combined with the air supplied from the port 3, then burned in the furnace while passing a discharge space of two stages formed of discharge electrodes 5 and opposite electrodes 6, and discharged out of the furnace from a gas discharge port 4. This method can be applied, in addition to an independent burning furnace, to a free board unit integrated with an incinerator, a melting furnace, etc. Thus, combustion in the furnace is stabilized without influence of variation in the combustible gas.
