Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce a vinyl chloride polymer which has both a high bulk desity and high vids, properties suitable for rigid extrusion, and has uniform particle properties. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl chloride monomer is polymerized in suspension in the presence of a suspending agent which comprises a polyvinyl alcohol (A) having degree of saponification of 70-85mol% and a viscosity in a 4wt.% aq. soln. at 20 deg.C of 3cP or higher, a polyvinyl alcohol (B) having a degree of saponification of 85-95mol% and a viscosity in a 4wt.% aq. soln. at 20 deg.C f 20 cP or lower, and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (c) having a methoxy group content of 25-30wt.%, a hydroxypropoxy group content of 4-12wt.%, and a viscosity in a 2wt.% aq. soln. at 20 deg.C of 40-60 cP in wt. ratios of A/B and (A+B)/C of (1/5)-(5/1) and (80/20)-(99.5/0.5), respectively.
