Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To discover at an early stage a defective constant velocity ball joint having relative plays between components for cancelling useless processes like that of assembling balls in the defective products. CONSTITUTION:An inner lace B is fitted in a ball cage C, while an inner assembly having a ball D forced in a ball window C1 of a portion of the ball cage is fitted in an outer race A (S1, S2). Thereafter, an axial play of the inner race B relative to the outer race A is measured (S3). Only when the play is lower than an allowable value, balls are forced into the remaining ball windows of the ball cage to assemble a constant velocity ball joint (S4-S7).
