Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enable an electronic component mounting to be sharply enhanced in productivity by a method wherein a nozzle rotation station and a nozzle unit rotation station are provided, an a limit travel distance which enables component feeding section and the rotary head of an XY table to have a waiting time is expanded. CONSTITUTION:For instance, component feeding section 1 is positioned to the suction position of nozzle 3 of a nozzle unit 2 taking the previously computed angle of rotation of the nozzle unit 2 of a station (ST) 6 into consideration to enable the nozzle 3 to suck an electronic component. The nozzle unit 2 which sucks an electronic is rotated by the nozzle 3 at a station 7. The nozzle 3 is rotated to an angle of rotation at which a suction attitude is recognized at a station 8. By this setup, an electronic component is mounted on a board 4 on a positioned XY table at a previously computed mounting position at a station 12. A limit travel distance which enables a component feeding section 1 and the rotary head of an XY table 4 to have a waiting time is expanded without changing the rotary head in rotational speed.
