Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a presser for tape-shaped recording carrier and a cassette with the same. CONSTITUTION: Concerning a recording carrier 10, a tape pressing member 31 is arranged and a supporting member 32, for which that member 31 is held by a holding member 13, is provided. In that case, the reversible distortion of the supporting member 32 and tape pressing member 31 is propagated to the holding member 31 in the state of operating a detecting member 20 and thus the recording carrier is pressed toward the detecting member by providing the presser for tape-shaped recording carrier, especially, for magnetic tape and the cassette with the same.
