Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To enable a lift system for a laser disk player to exactly make a laser beam incident on a disk while easily keeping a gap between the objective lens of a pickup unit and a disk constant. CONSTITUTION: A pulley 18 to be turned and driven by a loading motor, 1st cam gear 14a, 2nd cam gear 15a and 3rd cam gear 16a are supported on a board. The lift system of a laser disk player is constituted by engaging a lift mechanism for keeping constant the gap between the disk, which is swung while being engaged with this 3rd cam gear 16a, and an objective lens L of a pickup unit 14 with the outer peripheral face of rotary shaft of a spindle motor.
