MAT INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the device which automatically corrects the inclination of a layout sheet to a reference axis on the basis of position information on the reference line on the map only by inputting the layout sheet where a plate making frame, etc., are drawn from an image input means. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of plural pieces of position information that a position information extracting means 12 finds as to information regarding the reference information in a layout sheet image inputted from the image input means 11, a frequency distribution arithmetic means 14 finds inclination data on the reference line and also calculates the frequency distribution of the inclination data. Then a frequency distribution correcting means 15 deletes unnecessary inclination data from the frequency distribution and an image rotating means 17 rotates image information on the layout sheet according to the inclination of the reference lie found on the basis of the remaining frequency distribution.
