DESIGN ASSITING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide the designing assisting device which finds the design values of a rational component to be designed for properly attaining restriction conditions and target conditions and then reflects the intention of a designer on the design of the component. CONSTITUTION:The design assisting device 1 automatically sets proper design values regarding the component to be designed such as a constituent component of an automobile on the basis of various data, etc. The designing assisting device is equipped with a satisfaction degree conversion part 8 which indexes the respective degrees of satisfaction of the restriction conditions regarding the component to be designed and the target conditions of the component to be designed as membership functions and an optimizing process part 9 which totalizes the respective membership functions of the restriction conditions and target conditions and finds the best solution which makes the restriction conditions and target conditions attain proper degrees of satisfaction as the design values of the object component.
