Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To diminish nonuniformity in characteristics, to enable stable measurement of a current without being affected by an ambient temperature and to attain miniaturization. CONSTITUTION:This current detecting element is constructed of a core 1 prepared by using magnetite for a ferrite core and of a GaAs Hall element 2 having an excellent temperature characteristic. The ferrite core 1 is machined in the shape of a bobbin of a sewing machine and has a cylinder 3 closed at the top and the bottom and a central pole 4 piercing the hollow part of the cylinder in the axial direction, which are formed integrally. A conductor 5 through which a current to be measured flows is wound in several winds on the central pole 4. A space 6 is formed in the middle part of the central pole 4. The GaAs Hall element 2 is provided in the space 6. A magnetic flux generated around the conductor 5 through which the current to be measured flows is made to pass through the core 1 and a Hall voltage corresponding to the magnetic flux generated in the space 6 is outputted. As described above, the GaAs Hall element 2, which is provided in the space 6 of the central pole 4 surrounded by the cylinder 3, detects effectively only the magnetic flux passing through the central pole 4 and generated in the space 6 and is not affected by disturbance. |
