Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a system for detecting garbage or the like biting a valve portion at the time of valve closure so as to remove the garbage in a motor- driven valve to be intermittently opened or closed. CONSTITUTION:In an abnormality detecting system provided with an electric valve 6 having an opening/closing detection mechanism 6a disposed in a fluid path 7 and a controller 12 for controlling the electric valve 6, the controller 12 sends a closure signal to the electric valve 6. A control circuit 12b is constituted inside the controller 12 such that transmission of the closure signal is once interrupted and a signal is switched to an open signal, and then, the closure signal is automatically transmitted again when the closure signal cannot be obtained from the opening/closing detection mechanism 6a after a lapse of a predetermined time.
