CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION DEVICE FOR ROTATIONAL MOTION

PURPOSE:To economically provide a continuously variable transmission of such a structure that the torque is emitted through utilization of liquid pressure, which can freely change the revolving speed and/or direction by changing the pressure receiving area of a motor part relative to a pump with a constant discharge amount. CONSTITUTION:When a pump rotor 2 equipped at the periphery with vanes 8 is rotated within a motor rotor 5 rotatable round an eccentric shaft by an input shaft 1, the fluid is sucked with the enlarging/contracting motions of each space which are partitioned by the vanes 8, boosted, and sent toward the periphery via communication holes provided in the motor rotor 5. The motor rotor 5 begins rotating with the high pressure fluid having flowed in to the motor rotor 5 side, and the power is taken out from the output shaft 15 through a motor side gear 14. Therein the revolving speed to be taken out is varied any as desired by increasing or decreasing the eccentricity amount of the motor rotor 5 by a rotor driving device 12 against the action of a rotor movement backup device 13.
